After obtaining two master's degrees, one in Cinema and another in the Sound Department of E.N.S Louis Lumière (Paris, France), Julien Creus began his career by learning in many renowned recording studios. He interned at Ferber, worked as an in-house assistant/engineer for three years at Wisseloord (Hilversum, Netherlands), and has been an in-house engineer at Question de Son (Paris, France) since 2017. This thorough technical training combined to his background as a musician, made him develop various types of knowledge and experiences, whether in the film industry (as a sound editor) or in the music industry (as a producer/sound engineer).

As for a movie sound-track, Julien strives to capture the narrative conveyed by artists during live performances and enhance the unique vibe and chemistry that often occur during studio sessions. He likes to see the technical part of the job as tools to push the boundaries of creativity and experimentation, with the sole objective of understanding the artist's vision and reproducing it on tape.

Julien is currently based in Paris, France, where he divides his time between mixing in his own studio and recording in various locations as required by the projects he's involved in. Thanks to his international work, he has had the opportunity to immerse himself in eclectic and inspiring methods, gaining diverse perspectives on the role of a sound engineer. These experiences have contributed to enriching his own working approach, allowing him to offer customized solutions for each project he undertakes.
